Project Nosferatu

Project Nosferatu (ノスフェラトゥ計画, Nosuferatu Keikaku) is a plan to send vampires into space as experimental subjects prior to mankind's first manned flight. Vampires were ruthlessly chosen because they were the closest experimental animals to humans in terms of ecological characteristics, and even if they succeeded, they would not be "the first humans" because they were not human.
